Schon länger im Netz: Das Video zu White Limo in dem Lemmy Kilmister himself eine zentrale Rolle spielt. Sehr passend wie ich finde, der Song erinnert ein bisschen an Motorhead. Lemmy und Dave Grohl sind übrigens befreundet, so war es für die Foos kein Problem diese Starbesetzung zu bekommen:

Noch nicht genug Infos? Ok. Produziert wurde Wasting Light von Butch Vig, abgemischt von Alan Moulder. Und welchen besseren Ort hätte es für die Aufnahmen geben können als Daves Garage in California’s San Fernando Valley? Garagig (ähh, wie ist das Adverb zu Garage??) wird und soll es wohl auch klingen, da weitestgehend auf Software zur Soundbearbeitung verzichtet wurde. (nachgelesen auf weallwantsomeone)
